If I could have chosen the conditions for this visit to Sherwood Forest I could not have picked better ones. It was a gloriously sunny day and I managed to capture the peak of of this year's autumn colours.
Given that I have written a number of times in previous posts about conditions and autumn colours, I think I will dive straight into the photography, starting with a selection of beech tree colours in the area of Hanger Hill Woods. In part two, I will show a further selection as I complete a circular walk via Broad Drive. Finally in part 3, I make a stop in Budby South Forest for some colourful birch trees.
