Trent Reflections (September/October 2022)

More abstract photography, this time reflections in the River Trent - a very compelling subject. A gust of wind, a passing boat, a change in light, or the just the natural flow of water, ensures that no two shots are ever the same.

These are a selection from two visits, one in late September and the other in early October:

September on the Southwell Trail - Part 3

A final selection from September’s photography on the Southwell Trail. This part of the trail tends to receive good light towards the end of the day and whilst the compositions are very familiar, I do enjoy the ease of the photography and the peacefulness of the walk.

Blidworth Woods (September 2022)

A return to woodland photography after the summer break and the first signs of autumn colour in Blidworth Woods...plus the aftermath of forestry work which had cut through one of the plantations exposing a new line of tall pine and birch trees.
