Haldon Belvedere (April 2026)

April’s photography finished with a chance visit to the white tower or Haldon Belvedere, a grade ii-listed folly sitting high on the Haldon Hills. Built in 1788 it offers spectacular panoramic views of Dartmoor, Exeter and the River Exe but I particularly liked the view of the castle from the entrance path framed by the trees:

Greenway (April 2026)

Greenway, Agatha Christie’s renowned holiday home, boasts stunning grounds and views of the River Dart. While the weather was unkind on this occasion, I did manage to spot some spring colours emerging along the wooded riverbanks and wild garlic and bluebells in the garden.
