The
transition between autumn and winter tends to last a couple of weeks, sometimes
longer. Many of trees during this period lose their leaves completely but there
are some patches of colour which makes photographic composition easy. I
particularly enjoy the dotted colours where the leaves have thinned out,
leaving, in some cases, only a few stragglers hanging on.
