Blidworth Woods - Part 2 (November 2019)

In this second post from the last photography of November 2019, I will continue with a selection of photographs taken on a cold and foggy morning in Blidworth Woods.

There is a fine mature beech tree near to the top of the woods which I have photographed many times over the years. On this occasion there were a few autumnal leaves still hanging onto the branches and some pooled around the roots:








Elsewhere in the woods there were other defiant pockets of autumn colour:











Finally for November 2019, a small set of tree studies which look more like the new winter season ahead where the photography concentrates less on colour and more of the architectural elements of the winter trees (if I can describe in this way...):
