Autumn Colours - Part 1

I mentioned in my last post that bad weather restricted the photography on the Southwell Trail during October and November. When there were better weather days I tended to prioritise the forest areas for autumn colours instead of the trail. This trip to Clipstone Forest in mid- October was one of those occasions with the most advanced seasonal colours coming from the red oaks and both the beech and birch trees. These were some of the results:
