Clipstone Forest Mist (Octrober 2019)

If I could choose weather conditions for woodland photography I would definitely choose mistiness. It has a unique way of separating colours, diffusing backgrounds, and simplifying complex scenes. So, having complained in recent posts about bad weather during October, I was delighted to wake up to a blanket of mist / fog and headed out Clipstone Forest hoping to make the most of the conditions. As it turned out the mist was quite patchy and lifted quickly but the photography was enjoyable. These were some of the results:
