These photographs capture scenes at various points the coast between Bantham and Hope Cove, Devon. They include Burgh Island and the Thurlestone Rock, a natural rock arch in Thurlestone Bay.

The Ness (July 2026)

In my last post, I mentioned that my photography often centres around motifs – recurring elements that evoke a sense of place. The Ness is a key motif and these are some summer scenes from July.  They include sunset shots and hazy days, as well as photographs of the immediate surroundings of the Ness.

Holcombe Head (May 2026)
