The Ness (July 2026)

In my last post, I mentioned that my photography often centres around motifs – recurring elements that evoke a sense of place. The Ness is a key motif and these are some summer scenes from July.  They include sunset shots and hazy days, as well as photographs of the immediate surroundings of the Ness.

Holcombe Head (May 2026)

Holcombe Head or Hole Head is another subject like The Ness at Shaldon. I’ve been photographing it regularly since the start of the year.  Each month I’ve been documenting different conditions: the weather, sunlight, colours, the sea reflections and so on.
