Back Beach Details (February 2026)

In a previous post, I mentioned the abundance of shapes, colours and textures around Back Beach. It’s simply a matter of wandering around with the camera. Here are some examples from February’s photography:

Cloud Prompt (March 2023)

Prompts are useful for maintaining photographic creativity. They are a list of words that can be referred to when taking photographs. For example, I had three key prompts for March: camera settings, clouds, and the colour red. Two of the prompts were straight forward but I failed to find ‘red’ in any meaningful way and will keep that going into April.

The easiest to fulfil was the ‘cloud’ prompt. Each time I was out with the camera, I made sure I took a few moments to look up…simple, but effective. These were some of the results:
