Coryton Cove (October 2026)

Coryton Cove in Dawlish offers stunning views of Holcombe Head and the Parson and Clerk rocks.  Silhouetted against a streak of sunlight on the sea, these formations are complemented by the distant outlines of Hope’s Nose and Berry Head.

Also captured on the visit were some details of the cove including a black-backed seagull perched on what I think is Toad Rock…

Holcombe Head (May 2026)

Holcombe Head or Hole Head is another subject like The Ness at Shaldon. I’ve been photographing it regularly since the start of the year.  Each month I’ve been documenting different conditions: the weather, sunlight, colours, the sea reflections and so on.
