Southwell Minster (October 2019)

If I have ever have a spare moment when I am in Southwell, I like to visit Southwell Minster. It is a magnificent building and on this occasion I was attracted by some emerging autumnal colours and the warming glow of the sunlight on the sandstone walls. In addition, I had a pleasant walk around the quite gardens behind the minister which includes the ruins of a medieval palace:
