Clipstone Forest - Part 2 (September 2019)

Following on from the previous post is another selection from Clipstone Forest. This time I concentrate mainly on autumn coloured ferns highlighted by the fine morning sunlight.

Only a few weeks earlier there wasn't a picture to be had in the forest. Much of the undergrowth blended with the trees in a monotone of summer green. As the new seasonal colours emerged from the summer condition there was a potential image at every turn and this explains the volume of photographs from this trip and demonstrates the photographic lure of the autumn season!
