The Desert - Part 2 (September 2019)

I ended up taking two distinct panels of photographs at the desert location (see my previous post for details). This particular set concentrates on the coal deposits and what might be described as a slag heap. In most of the images I tried to remove much of the surrounding context preferring instead to compose with lines, shapes, colours and textures. I think this approach produces more interesting photography but always carries a risk of being interpreted more plainly i.e. just some tracks in the mud!
