Trail Light (February 2019)

Last winter on the Southwell Trail was very dramatic with snow blown in on biting east winds. This year has been mild and calm which is more difficult to translate through photography and a photoblog. That said, when I reviewed the trail photographs from February I was struck by the quality of the light during the month and whilst there wasn't the drama of last year's snow there is a real beauty in bare trees and winter sunlight.
