Making the most of the unseasonably warm end to February we set out for a walk along the River Trent from Fiskerton. The weather was so good it almost like an early summer's day and we stayed to watch a perfect sunset before heading home:
Prior to this we had walked towards Farndon on the Staythorpe side of the river. The river itself was very still, almost glass-like and this provided a number of opportunities to capture reflections of the river bank and the trees:
As we neared Farndon, the Staythorpe power station came into view along with a web of pylons and power lines:
Overall, it was a very pleasant walk which we repeated over the recent Easter break. Again the weather was excellent and I will show the some the results once I have caught up with the processing.
