The final stop on my walk around Clipstone Forest in May was Stallon Pond where I was drawn by the spring colours and streaks of blue sky reflected in the water. These were some of the results:
In between rain showers I continued the reflection theme capturing the patterns created by overhanging branches:
On the way back to the car I spotted these vibrant spring greens from a row of young sliver birch trees, some lichen on one of the trees, and finished with a couple of forest path scenes:
