Newark-on-Trent (April 2021)

The variation in photographic locations started to increase in April as we ventured a little further from home...nothing too dramatic, just an opportunity to wander with the camera, to see something different, and restart the photographic process that I had missed over the winter. 

One of these location was the towpath along the Trent in Newark and the main subject that caught my eye was the light reflecting off the building in the rippling water...not a new subject but an engaging one that I enjoyed. These were some of the results:



















The following record shot of Newark Castle provides some context for the abstract compositions shown above. It is a fine view that I was happy to capture again....
