Clevedon Pill (February 2020)

The photography didn't end with the dawn visit to Burnham Lighthouse - see my previous posts - and I was out again for the sunset at Clevedon Pill.

Clevedon Pill is a small inlet where the Blind Yeo and the Land Yeo drain into Severn Estuary. Despite being small there was plenty to photograph including, boats in the estuary, salt marsh, landscapes across the channel, and reflections in the very clam river.

This first selection concentrates on the small boats in the creek where the Land Yeo snakes its way to the Severn. The twists and turns provided a number of different angles to capture the crafts and their reflections in the half tide:
