Burnham Lighthouse - Part 2 (February 2020)

Once I had put the tripod to one side - see my previous post, I started to experiment with various compositions often using the reflection of the lighthouse as a subject. Most of these compositions were based on the tones, lines, angles and textures, and were very different to the ‘classic landscapes’ shown in my last post.

I think this set draws out more of the character of the lighthouse particularly the images that emphasize the lighthouse’s stilt-like legs. Looking back, this handheld camera activity was the most enjoyable photography of the morning and further reminds my how my photographic tastes have changed in recent years:
