The Park Tunnel, Nottingham (July 2018)

Carved through the sandstone in Nottingham  city centre is the Victorian Park Tunnel. It was built to provide access for carriages to the Duke of Newcastle's Park Estate but was considered too steep for the horses and not fit for purpose. Today it provides pedestrian access from Derby Road to the residential Park area:








I particularly liked some of the colours and textures in the rock and brick work:
