Summer on the Southwell Trail - Part 1

I continued the Southwell Trail series into the summer months in order to complete a full year of photography along the trail. The summer season started with weeks of fine sunny weather - glorious for walking but challenging for the camera. The harsh contrast was the issue but in the end I decided to make it a feature including shooting directly into the sun. I am not sure that I like the results as stand alone images but they are good additions to the documentary series:
