The Groyne (May 2023)

A biting north easterly wind returned late spring to mid-winter on the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea. It was cold and grey and not ideal for landscape (or seascape) photography. Searching for colour could have come from the beach huts but these were mostly occupied by hardy souls trying to enjoy their day. Instead I came across a rusty groyne, battered by sea and weather, but delightfully vibrant in its decay. 

Hunstanton Beach (October 2022)

Low afternoon sunlight created these wonderful lines and colours along the beach at Hunstanton. The stripes were a combination of streams flowing to the sea contrasting with the warmth from the sand at low tide.

Welney Wetland Centre (June 2019)

Continuing the wet weather theme from my last post is a series of images from the Welney Wetland Centre in Norfolk. The visit was a family outing rather than a specific photography event but I managed to record some heavy rain clouds rolling across the open landscape:
