A first visit of the season to Sherwood Forest. I wasn’t expecting too much in the way of autumn colour although there were a few hints from the birch trees and red oaks near to Hanger Hill Wood. The subject that I spent most time on was a small beech wood that always provides photographic interest regardless of the time of year.
