Trent Reflections (March 2022)

The trips to the River Trent in March produced more output than I had first anticipated, so having posted two selections of landscapes, this final set focuses on the more abstract compositions. These are mainly reflections in the Trent often created from the wake as pleasure boats pass. The ripples break up the surface producing lines of alternating colour - sky blue and warm orange browns from the reflected trees:















 As the spring season progresses there were catkins on the willow and birch trees:



Finally, near to Hazelford Lock is a marina where a few of the boat reflections caught my eye:
