There were a few trips to the River Trent in March mainly for walking, some photography, and also a bit of plein-air artwork, the latter not being too successful, but I keep trying.
This selection concentrates on the soft light at the end of the day. Many of trees were still leafless but in the sunshine they radiated a wonderful, russet toned, warmth with a sense calmness that I particularly enjoyed:
