April on the Southwell Trail - Oak Trees

For a number of reasons, including a focus on my painting activities, I have got further behind with my photoblog posts. I had considered skipping over some content in an effort to catch up but this would mean missing out some photography that I really like. For example, during April I particularly enjoyed the transitional colours of the oaks trees on Southwell Trail as new leaves and catkins started to develop. It may seem a small detail now we are in July but I think the photos are worth including as part of this year’s photography record:




















 By the end of April the canopy had really filled out with plenty of fresh greens on display:
