I think the bald blue skies, or the odd well placed cloud, helps to emphasize the structures and the receding perspective of the power lines. I also had some fun with the angles where a minor pylon (not sure what else to call it!) was leaning to one side:

Spring on the Southwell Trail - Part 13 (May 2018)
I think I have mentioned in previous posts the difficulty in avoiding pylons in the local area as they radiant from the Staythorpe power station about ten or so miles away. I have also said that I had given up trying to compose around pylons and decided that I might as well embrace them as a feature of the landscape.
