Ten days after my previous visit to Blidworth Woods I returned to capture more of the emerging spring colours. I particularly noted the new leaves on the birch trees, dotted against clear blue skies. I also enjoyed the still leafless branches of the oaks trees, the patterns of light and shade, and the contrast with fresh greens in the background:
