To counteract the brightness I used a polarising filter to reduce the reflections and manage the dynamic range. This had the impact of intensifying the colours whilst adding a warming effect to the foliage (the Lee landscape polariser has an equivalent 81A warm-up filter built-in). Sherwood Forest - Photography Week 45 (2016)
The search for autumn colour starts in early October but often the best show is in mid to late November. This was certainly the case in Sherwood Forest on a bright afternoon.
