Hope’s Nose (August 2026)

From the seawall in Teignmouth, I’ve regularly photographed the distant Hope’s Nose, the Orestone and Flat Rock. These features often support compositions that capture the sky or sea conditions. Here’s an example from August’s photos:

However, I recently made a trip to Hope’s Nose in Torquay to get a closer look and a different perspective on a familiar scene. In addition to views of the headland, Orestone and Flat Rock, I captured a few scenes of Thatcher Rock off Meadfoot Beach and shots looking back towards Teignmouth. 

 

Hope’s Nose (February 2026)
