Autumn Ash Trees (2024)

Ash trees are one of the first trees to show autumn colours and there are some fine examples on the Southwell Trail. The leaves are particularly vibrant when set against a blue sky - one of my favourite subjects at this time of year…

November on Combs Lane (2022)

By mid-November the ash and lime trees had lost most of their leaves, leaving the oaks and the fast shedding beech trees to fly the flag for the remaining autumn colours. A rare bit of November brightness aided the photography.
