A fine hoar frost combined with the last of the autumn colours providing ideal conditions for photography on the Southwell Trail in December. I was thinking at the time, that I hadn’t seen scenes quite like this despite many years of trail photography, reinforcing the notion that local photography never really ends. There is always another day or a set of conditions that bring something new to capture. It is just a case of being there when it happens…
