Summer on the Southwell Trail - Part 7

The wheat field that I covered in part 2 of the summer series was now ready for harvest and I documented the different activities, waiting until late in the day for best lighting conditions. This was the crop prior to harvest:

Once the grain has been harvested the straw was left ready for baling:
