Ross-on-Wye (March 2018)

After the visit to Hay-on-Wye (see previous post) we moved further along the river to Ross-on-Wye and  walked up Chase Hill, the site of an Iron Age hillfort (although there is no access to the hillfort itself).

At the top of Chase Hill was a view across the countryside to the Malvern Hills. The conditions for photography weren't great but the occasional breaks in the cloud provided some added interest to the shots:

Whilst walking through Chase Wood a few details that caught my eye including some of the trees  and a log pile:

Prior to the Chase Hill walk we had a look around the town centre in Ross-on-Wye and I took a couple of record shots near to the river:
