This is a set of photographs taken last year at Lizard Point in Cornwall. The series starts with images of a sea stack called Bumble Rock and then the view towards Marconi's Bungalow (1) which sits on the cliff above Housel Cove:
The conditions were mainly bright for the visit with cloud building from a south-westerly direction often blocking the sunlight but occasionally breaking to highlight the cliff face. A shower was captured moving across the horizon near to Bumble Rock followed by two views of the old lifeboat station at Lizard Point:
As the cloud intensified attention turned to the shards of sunlight on the horizon:
Finally, the sunlight was lost for the evening with this final black and white conversion capturing more threatening conditions:
