Kynance Cove - Photography Week 6 (2016)

Kynance Cove is described as "one of the prettiest coves in Cornwall" (1) and "one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the South West" by the BBC (2).

May be because I have only visited in the winter months, I have a different impression. Kynance signifies, for me, the raw power of nature and its beauty is a wild beauty rather than a pretty one.

I have tried capture some of this wildness with the following results:

The cove is managed by the National Trust including a tea room which first opened in 1929 (2). 

A couple of the buildings nearby have been condemned as unsafe:
