Rock Abstracts
With a number of days written off by bad weather I often found myself looking for alternative photographic opportunities including the coastal rocks around Falmouth and Porthleven. These were some of the results:
Kennall Vale
Before leaving for Cornwall I had identified Kennall Vale as a possible location for dull or grey weather. There are a number of small waterfalls that run through a wooded valley and the remains of several buildings used for producing gunpowder during the 19th century:
The Lizard
On the last day of the week there was some welcome sunshine. These are a few of the image from an afternoon walk on the coastal path at The Lizard including the old lifeboat station, a passing shower over the sea and threatening cloud above The Lizard village:
