Oilseed Crop - Photography week 17 & 18 (2017)

This year's crop in many of the local fields is oilseed and the vibrant yellow flowers are wonderful to look at and a must to photograph.

During much of April the colours were at their peak but they started to diminish quickly during early May. This set was an attempt to make the most of the colour along the Southwell Trail and were taken on a two contrasting weather days during photography weeks 17 and 18:
