Autumn in Spring (April 2018)

If I presented this selection from Foxcovert Nature Reserve during late autumn, I don't think anyone would think anyone would argue about the season or believe they were taken in spring. It was foggy, cold and dank, with dried orange leaves on some of the trees adding to the impression of autumn in springtime - great for woodland photography though:













This next set concentrates on the leafless tree branches and I particularly like the first image:








There was just a hint of spring as some leaf buds start to show plus a view of Gravelly Hollow, the dead end road which runs alongside Foxcovert Nature Reserve:
